    TASTING PROFILE

    A whimsical showcase of Bolivia, this natural coffee reveals vinous aromas of red plums with a musky undertone, subtly reminiscent of mulled wine. Caranavi’s unique terroir blends gentle acidity with the sweetness of freshly picked fruit.

    ORIGIN

    Caranavi’s Women’s Blend is the result of collaboration between three producers from the town of Copacabana: Carmelita Aduviri, Juana Gonzales, Mercedes Condoni. Operating in the Caranavi region, these women work in conjunction with Agricafe’s “Sol de la Mañana” project. Their daytime harvest is followed by meticulous cherry sorting at the washing station in the evening. This Caturra variety lot has been intentionally processed naturally to highlight Bolivia’s terroir.

    DRINKING

    As soon as you lift the cup to your lips, the distinct notes of red plum make their entrance, bringing a sweet and velvety touch to each sip. A subtle vinous elegance accompanies this experience, adding a complex and refined depth to each note. Its musky side reveals itself in the aromas that surprise you in retro-olfaction, convincing you to also explore this wonder in espresso. The espresso, in turn, reveals the terroir without compromise, with a balanced extraction between sugar and acidity. A statement of what we call audacious, here at Nektar and a pleasure to share.
