TASTING
This coffee contains a level of fruity and floral complexity, while remaining intensely sweet and well balanced. We liked its clean side. It is a good candidate for filter and alternative methods, however it will appeal to the short espresso fanatic looking for a sweet and crisp side. Could also be accompanied by a touch of milk for a good cortado.
ORIGIN
Tuma Tesso opened for its first harvest season this past fall, 2019. Its location is ideal, south of Agaro Gera. Their coffees, of native variety, have exceptionally fruity taste notes that remind us of stone fruits.
Tuma Tesso is part of the Kata Muduga Cooperative Union, a group that represents coffee growers in the Agaro region, Ethiopia. Kata Muduga’s mission is to improve the lives of West African coffee farmers by giving them market access and negotiating fair and sustainable prices for green coffee.
We look forward to the next lots that Tuma Tesso and its members will continue to produce in the years to come.
