TASTING
We are in the presence here of a real fruit punch! There are notes of cooked strawberries, grape juice. It's fruity and sweet. With milk, we can think of a strawberry milkshake.
ORIGIN
These beans come from the Testi West Arsi washing station. It was founded in 2016 and serves around 600 small farmers in the region around the village of Uchuro in West Arsi. Ethiopian growers usually produce very small batches (between 1/4 and 1/2 hectare) and deliver their fruit to a washing station which mixes them with deliveries from other growers and processes them. Here, the process is natural, so the fruits are picked ripe, rinsed, then dried in their husks on raised beds for 15 to 21 days.
