The Juan Perez Davila is a coffee for the general public. A nice roundness in the mouth, not too sweet. A rich, well-balanced cup. It is easy to appreciate. The taste of half-black chocolate gives a nice intensity.
Juan has been growing coffee on his farm for 9 years and has been an active member of the Santuario Cooperative for 5 years. Like so many other coffee producers, he inherited the land from his parents. He owns 4 hectares of land, 2 of which are dedicated to coffee production.
The harvest season in Huabal is between July and August. We are inspired by the Santuario Cooperative's commitment to honesty and transparency, their dedication to education and growth, and their dedication to quality as a lever to bring real value to people's lives.
The Cooperative's mission is to help small producers obtain the best possible prices for coffee through quality improvement.
