TASTING PROFILE
A hearty Colombian coffee! In this batch, chocolaty aromas are beautifully balanced in a rich profile, providing everything needed to captivate a broad audience! This coffee, almost dessert-like, excels in complementing milk beverages and evokes memories of childhood chocolate chip cookies. The harmonious interplay of notes and texture makes it the profile of choice for what Nektar calls a classic coffee.
ORIGIN
The batch of Castillo, Caturra and Colombia grown by the "Manos de Mujeres" group was harvested in La Union, located in the Narino region of Colombia. This women's collective is part of the FUDAM association, an organization that promotes certified organic agriculture and sustainability. The team's batches are generally fermented for 16 to 24 hours, then washed 2 or 3 times.
DRINKING
As a traditional espresso, we have a coffee that balances acidity and bitterness, like few other choices on our menu. The cup is generous and pairs perfectly with cow's milk, offering ample space for creativity in crafting flavored beverages. When brewed as a filter coffee, this coffee presents its aromas in a very traditional manner; we suggest batch brews for large groups and the French press!
