    TASTING

From the very first sip, this high-end natural coffee captivates the senses. The aroma of fresh strawberries dominates the cup, enveloping us in a floral storm that transitions to a sweet acidity reminiscent of yellow lemon. Despite being a natural lot, it expresses notes similar to washed coffees, showcasing that excellence in processing can reveal a clear vision of terroir and maintain a sustained sweetness.

    ORIGIN

Returning to Ethiopia, we find a prime example of the craftsmanship at the Mundayo washing station in the West Arsi region. This station has a well-established reputation for quality. It meticulously processes batches from neighboring farmers, floating the cherries for pre-selection before drying them naturally on raised beds for 21 days. Serving hundreds, if not thousands, of farmers, we are fortunate to receive such an exceptional batch among the exported lots.

    DRINKING

This coffee stands as a Nektar all-star, served from espresso to piston coffee makers, allowing its distinctive character to shine in every brew. The traditional espresso is a standout, boasting magnificent acidity balanced perfectly with sweetness, showcasing the full potential of modern roasting techniques. Moving to manual filter brewing, we delve deep into its complexity, uncovering Ethiopian nuances like apple, kiwi, and floral terroir notes. Whether enjoyed in cortados or as an exceptional cold brew, this coffee promises to elevate every sip.
