TASTING
Introducing our new summer blend!
For the fourth year in a row, we’ve crafted a custom blend made to complement the warm season. This time, we played with processing contrasts to create a 60/40 duo: a washed coffee from Guatemala paired with a Balinese lot fermented using carbonic maceration. We may not be weather experts, but this is our way of saying that summer will be exotic and vibrant, at least in your cup.
Expect a juicy, sweet brew with notes of peach in syrup, bright cherry and a smooth caramel finish. Its light, silky texture brings to mind fresh juice, and the whole experience feels like a fruity lemonade, coffee-style.
Close your eyes. One sip is enough to feel the warm breeze of a fruit orchard in full bloom. It’s the kind of coffee that makes you want to grab a cold brew and head straight for the beach.
ORIGIN
This blend brings together two standout coffees: a washed lot from Finca Los Petros, grown by Petronilo Martinez in Huehuetenango, and an Indonesian coffee from the Karana community, processed using carbonic maceration.
This rare method involves fermenting whole cherries in a sealed environment filled with carbon dioxide. The result is intensified aromas, a vibrant texture and a boldly original flavor profile. It’s the perfect balance between classic sweetness and tropical flair.
BREWING
This coffee truly shines over ice. It is summer, after all!
That said, it also performs beautifully as an espresso, especially in a refreshing afternoon espresso tonic. In filter brews, its fluid texture and fruity character come through with finesse. A versatile, refreshing and joyfully summery blend.
