TASTING
Here is our new summer blend!
For the fifth year in a row, we have created a custom blend to accompany the warmer season. This time, we brought together equal parts of two remarkable lots from the island of Flores to create a profile inspired by the world of cocktails. We may not be weather experts, but this is our way of announcing a festive and refreshing summer, at least in your cup.
Expect a juicy and sweet infusion, marked by notes of honeydew melon and cherry candy, followed by a finish reminiscent of Aperol. Its generous texture and vibrant profile evoke a brilliantly crafted cocktail.
Close your eyes. A single sip is enough to bring back the feeling of a summer afternoon on a patio. A coffee that makes you want to head out on an adventure, iced coffee in hand.
ORIGIN
This blend brings together two coffees from the same producer and the same terroir, but processed in two different ways. The first is washed and yeast-fermented, while the second is natural and yeast-fermented.
Grown by Ikang M. Hendri in Bajawa, on the island of Flores, these lots reflect a strong command of innovative processing methods while highlighting the distinctive character of their terroir. Combined in equal parts, they create an expressive and unmistakably summery blend.
BREWING
This coffee makes a remarkable espresso over ice and works beautifully in coffee-based cocktails.
It also shines as a filter coffee, especially over ice in the style of a Japanese iced coffee, for a refreshing afternoon cup. With milk, its intensity softens while retaining its personality, making it especially enjoyable as a cortado.
A bold, refreshing, and joyfully summery blend.
